1. Start Journaling
Take a moment each day, preferably the evening to write down at least 5 things that you are grateful for. This is a great practice to start your day with, to set the tone for the day and remember all that you have and are grateful for.
2. Be present, be in the present moment
Practice being here and now with breathwork or mindfulness exercises. Use all your senses to observe the world around you. If you have flowers around, can you smell them, what do they smell like? Hold something in your hand, what does it feel like? Listening to music, does it invoke any feelings in you or bring back any memories. Be creative!
3. Express gratitude to your loved ones
Tell your loved ones that you appreciate them, and what they mean to you, call someone you haven't spoken to in a while, or better yet plan to meet them!
4. Compliments
Give at least 3 compliments to people around you, whether by phone, physically or digitally. You'd be surprised how good you will feel when you see their reactions and gratitude!
